
In the framework of the project “Strengthening the Internationalisation of Vietnamese Emerging Universities” (STRIVE), the Institute of Development Cooperation—Phu Xuan University (PXU)—successfully organized a seminar titled “Introduction to Erasmus+ Opportunities for Faculty, Staff, and Students in Vietnam (D.5.2.)”. The seminar’s goal was to share information about international exchange opportunities available to faculty, staff, and students across Vietnam. Furthermore, the event aimed to promote international cooperation, thereby contributing to the modernisation and internationalisation of the Vietnamese higher education landscape.
The program was conducted in a hybrid format (both in-person and online via Zoom) and attracted the participation of 49 individuals, including lecturers, staff, and students from seven educational and cultural management institutions. Attendees represented: Lac Hong University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Hue Industrial College, University of Foreign Languages – University of Da Nang, Hue University of Foreign Languages and International Studies, Phu Xuan University, and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Hue City.

The key content presented in the seminar included: General introduction to the Erasmus+ Programme, Introduction to Erasmus+ KA1 regarding international exchange opportunities for faculty and students, Introduction to Erasmus+ KA2 regarding promoting cooperation between universities and partner organisations.
The seminar successfully concluded, bringing much practical and updated information regarding academic activities, exchanges and international cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, especially content related to KA1 and KA2 activities. This was also an opportunity for universities to expand connections, share experiences and simultaneously promote cooperation in developing joint projects at the European level in particular and international projects in general in the future.
