At Phu Xuan University, English is considered a second language. Learning and proficiently using English is not only an advantage but also an essential requirement for global integration. For English Language majors, interning abroad is a golden opportunity to enhance skills, accumulate experience, and broaden their horizons.
Recently, PXUni English Language students had the opportunity to intern at Hotel Torre Salinas, in Muravera province in the southern part of Sardinia (Sardegna) island. Our two young ladies, Hoang Tran Khanh Huyen and Nguyen Tran Ha Trang, had interesting and valuable experiences during their internship abroad.
They have equipped themselves with a “handbook” on the operations of Italian restaurants and hotels, practical knowledge of work in the international tourism industry, and insights into European culture and people. At the same time, they had the chance to practice both English and Italian. During the 6-month internship, they were also supported with living expenses and received an “impressive” salary of up to 4,200 Euros.
