Overview of International Scope

Phu Xuan University’s international activities are demonstrated through its network of partners and ongoing cooperation projects. The university currently maintains more than 13 cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding with universities and educational organizations in the UK, USA, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and China.

Regarding project activities, Phu Xuan University participates in over 11 international projects in roles such as Project Lead, Co-Investigator, and Research Assistant, drawing from prestigious project sources such as ERASMUS, the British Academy (BA), the British Council (BC), the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF), and the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). These projects focus on the fields of digital transformation, new technology, creating social impact, and promoting sustainable development, advancing women’s empowerment, and fostering inclusion for vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, women, and youth in mountainous and ethnic minority regions. Over the years, Phu Xuan University is proud to have contributed to promoting a digital transformation culture in Vietnam, attracting a network of over 172 domestic and international partners, engaging more than 525 leaders, staff, and lecturers, and 3391 students through project-based learning; while also supporting over 70 people with disabilities and 200 women and youth in mountainous areas to enhance their skills and livelihoods through training programs on technology and e-commerce skills.

Projects also serve as a bridge between Phu Xuan University and global educational and research partners, providing opportunities for short-term exchange, study, and internships abroad for more than 35+ leaders, lecturers, and staff to expand their professional network and share specialized experience with international experts, scientists, and researchers, simultaneously attracting 2 visiting professors and 1 international teaching assistant.

For training programs and student support, formal training programs are built with the goal of enhancing foreign language proficiency, helping students use English and other languages in their specialized work after graduation. The university also regularly organizes exchange delegations for over 25 students to study and intern abroad, as well as welcomes +20 international students to intern and engage in cultural exchange in Hue.
