This is a new opportunity opening up for Vietnamese students in general and PXU students in particular. A 4-year Bachelor’s training program at Phu Xuan University, receiving an international degree awarded by Broward College (USA). This is the first “sweet fruit” harvested from the cooperation agreement signed between Phu Xuan University and Broward College.
During this trip to the US, the Vietnamese delegation, including leaders from Phu Xuan University, will participate in meaningful activities such as:
- Visiting Broward College and the Emil Buehler Aviation Institute
- Attending the Broward College 2023 Global Conference – Connecting International Partners in Florida, USA
- Promoting the signing of cooperation agreements and planning action to implement the cooperation program between the two units
Accordingly, PXU and Broward College have signed an official MOU with the participation of senior leaders from both units:
- Ms. Ho Thi Hanh Tien – President of Phu Xuan University
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh Chuong, Director of External Relations, Vice President of Phu Xuan University
- Ms. Than Thi Thu Thao, Director of Broward Vietnam International Training Institute under Phu Xuan University, which is the unit that will implement the 4-year Broward Program at Phu Xuan University
- Mr. Gregory Adam Haile, J.D., President of Broward College
- Dr. David Moore, Dean of International Education, Broward College
Phu Xuan University and Broward Vietnam are both members of the EQUEST Education Group. Broward College is a public university established in 1959 by the state government of Florida (USA). Currently, the school has nearly 60,000 students from over 100 countries. The college was ranked by the prestigious Aspen Institute as one of the TOP 3 best community colleges in the US (2017-2021).
