On 28 September 2024, Dr. Ho Thi Hanh Tien, Director of the Institute for Partnership Development and Vice Chair of the University Council of Phu Xuan University, had the honor of participating and presenting at the international conference of the UNESCO Chair on Technology and Engineering Education for Children and Youth. The event brought together representatives from 15 RCEP member countries to discuss contemporary developments and challenges in expanding access to and improving the effectiveness of STEM education.

The roundtable forum on “Values and Actions of Technology and Engineering Education in STEM for Primary and Secondary Schools” aimed to diversify practical insights and STEM education policies internationally, while proposing pathways to promote cross-border collaboration in technology and engineering education for children and youth. During the forum, participants signed a Joint Declaration, committing to advancing K-12 STEM education for the benefit of students and contributing to the development of UNESCO standards and guidelines in the coming period.

Phu Xuan University takes pride in having its representative participate in this international professional network, contributing to the enhancement of education quality and the expansion of global collaboration in STEM and technology education.
