From 18 to 19 November 2024, the international conference “K-12 Technology and Engineering Education Schools in the Digital Age: Global Perspectives and Multiple Paths”, organized by the UNESCO Chair, took place in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The event brought together experts, education administrators, and scholars from multiple countries to discuss trends in technology education within the context of global digital transformation.

The conference served as an important international forum, focusing on topics such as the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies on K-12 education, innovations in STEM curricula, and strategies for diversifying learning pathways for students in the digital era. Discussion sessions, keynote presentations, and in-depth panels fostered a vibrant academic atmosphere, promoting connections among universities, research institutes, and educational organizations worldwide.

Representing Phu Xuan University, Dr. Ho Thi Hanh Tien – Director of the Institute for Partnership Development and Vice Chair of the University Council – attended the conference as a delegate and academic speaker. Dr. Hanh Tien’s participation highlighted Phu Xuan University’s efforts to expand international collaboration while engaging with emerging trends in technology and engineering education and pedagogical innovation in the digital age.
