PHU XUAN UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN SHORT COURSE ON DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND GREEN SKILLS FOR ASEAN’S FUTURE IN AUSTRALIA

Embracing the inevitable trend of digital transformation and sustainable development, while also pursuing the goal of internationalizing education, Phu Xuan University sent a representative to participate in an important training program in Australia.

From January 25, 2024, to February 12, 2024, Dr. Ho Thi Hanh Tien – Vice Chairwoman of the University Council, Director of the Institute for Development Cooperation of Phu Xuan University – participated in a short course titled “Digital Transformation and Green Skills Initiatives for the Future of the ASEAN Region”. The course was held in Australia, one of the leading countries in technology and sustainable development education.

The program brought together education managers and policymakers from many prestigious organizations in Vietnam. Participating alongside the representative from Phu Xuan University were representatives from the Binh Thuan Provincial Department of Education and Training, Cao Thang Technical College, and Tra Vinh University.

The course focused on studying and discussing advanced strategies and models for integrating digital skills and green skills into training curricula. These are two important pillars that determine the competitiveness of the workforce in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and global commitments to carbon neutrality.

Participation in this course affirms Phu Xuan University’s strategic vision in proactively updating international education trends. The knowledge and experience gained from the program will be a valuable foundation for the university to continue innovating its training programs, develop “work-study” cooperation models, and ensure graduates are ready to meet the rigorous demands of the labor market in the digital era and the green economy.
