Project “Prototyping generative AI in Digital Marketing to Overcome Disability Disadvantage”

Phu Xuan University has launched the project “Prototyping generative AI in Digital Marketing to Overcome Disability Disadvantage”, with the participation of experts from Liverpool John Moores University (UK) and Deakin University (Australia). The project establishes a new field of development in social-oriented, inclusive Artificial Intelligence, focusing on supporting PwD to improve digital marketing skills, develop personal business, and expand employment opportunities. The project implemented its main activities from November 2024 through the end of March 2025.

In-depth Training and Mentoring

Based on the initial survey results, the expert team designed a customized training program, which was implemented through core activities from December 2024 to February 2025.

  • Specialized Training: The expert team guided PwD on how to apply accessible and common generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, CapCut, Invideo, Copilot, and Canva.

  • Training Content: The program prioritized teaching digital marketing skills tailored to the practical needs of PwD, including building sales content, creating short promotional videos, and developing digital communication plans.

  • Group Mentoring: Group mentoring sessions were organized to support participants in directly applying AI tools to their personal business models or work.

Concurrently, the project team compiled and disseminated a mini guide handbook on popular AI software to provide reference materials for participants.

Connection Plan

After concluding the pilot phase, the project continues to maintain activities through subsequent group mentoring sessions and is preparing for a Results Presentation Event scheduled for April 24. This event will gather international experts from Australia and the UK to discuss the development direction and potential for scaling up the project in the future, affirming the commitment of Phu Xuan University and its international partners in promoting technological inclusion.
