Recently, two outstanding students from the English Language major at Phu Xuan University (PXUni), Hoang Tran Khanh Huyen and Nguyen Tran Ha Trang, had the opportunity to intern at the Torre Salinas Hotel in Muravera province, southern Sardinia Island, Italy. This was a valuable experience that helped the students not only accumulate practical knowledge about the hospitality industry but also gain a deeper understanding of the international tourism industry, culture, and people of Europe.
Throughout the 6-month internship, Huyen and Trang learned about the operational procedures of a standard Italian hotel, gained professional work experience, and simultaneously honed their communication skills by using both English and Italian. Notably, the students were also supported with a living allowance of up to 700 EUR/month, receiving a total of 4,200 EUR during the internship period. This is a wonderful opportunity for young students wishing to broaden their knowledge and develop themselves in an international environment.
