Within the framework of the STRIVE Project “Strengthening Internationalization of Vietnamese Emerging Universities,” from June 23-24, 2025, the delegation from Phu Xuan University participated in the STRIVE Project training workshop with the theme “Discussing experiences in organizing international exchange programs for lecturers, staff, and students.” The program was held at the University of Tuscia, Viterbo city, Italy, with the in-person and online participation of more than 50 leaders and lecturers from STRIVE Project partner members, including: the host institution, University of Tuscia (Italy), AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium (Italy), University of Évora (Portugal), along with member universities from Vietnam including: Hanoi University, National Academy of Public Administration, Phu Xuan University, and Quang Ninh University of Industry.
The working session focused on Work Package 4, specifically on experiences in implementing international exchange programs for lecturers, staff, and students (KA1 activity in the Erasmus+ program). Key contents included context analysis, international cooperation strategies, implementation plans, and activities to support exchange mobility between Vietnamese and international universities. At the same time, member universities also discussed and agreed on the structure, general objectives, specific objectives, and work packages for the KA2 capacity building project in the field of sustainable tourism. This is also an output objective of the STRIVE Project.

After two days of organization with 11 presentations, the workshop successfully trained on KA1 and KA2 activity contents in the Erasmus+ program, as well as disseminated the next implementation steps in building a Virtual International Center to store and share project resources, and simultaneously agreed on activities to be completed before the next training workshop scheduled to be held in January 2026 at Hanoi University.
