On 24–25 March 2025, the “Writing Retreat & Group Mentoring” program—an activity under the “Digi:Đổi” project aimed at enhancing the academic writing skills of Vietnamese lecturers for national and international publication—was successfully organized in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program welcomed the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tony Wall and Dr. Alison Lui, representatives of the project team from the United Kingdom, along with Dr. Ho Thi Hanh Tien, the Project Lead in Vietnam, and 22 lecturers who are authors or co-authors currently developing scientific papers. Participants came from various universities, including: Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Thu Dau Mot University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.

This meaningful activity created a focused and immersive environment that fostered scientific research and supported lecturers in advancing and completing their academic work.

The program took place in an engaging and dynamic atmosphere, with 10 research papers presented and discussed. The organizing committee received highly positive feedback, with participating lecturers appreciating the program’s practical content, which directly addressed their real needs in academic writing and scientific publication.

The “Writing Retreat & Group Mentoring” program reaffirmed its role as an important academic support activity, contributing to the development of lecturers’ research capacity and laying a solid foundation for high-quality scientific publications in the future.
